Oyat advises Eiffel Investment Group on its investment in Open Airlines
PARIS (14 November 2024) – Oyat advised Eiffel Essentiel in the funding of OpenAirlines’ 45M euros to accelerate the aviation industry’s ecological transition.
Eiffel Investment Group, through their Eiffel Essentiel fund, led a significant investment in OpenAirlines, a global leader in eco-flying software.
OpenAirlines is at the forefront of decarbonizing the aviation sector with its innovative 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲® platform, which harnesses advanced AI and machine learning to optimize fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, empowering airlines to reduce fuel use. With over 70 airlines already benefiting from this technology OpenAirlines has helped the industry save 1.4 million metric tons of CO₂ in 2023 alone.
The Oyat team was led on the corporate side by Caroline Basdevant-Soulié, partner, Romain Chinchole, Ouisse Weiss Akhonzada and Romane Rage, associates.
The team in charge of the audit was comprised by Marie-Hélène Tonnellier, partner and Camille Guyot, associate for the digital aspects; Cyrille Kurzaj, partner in charge of the tax aspects and Fabien Pomart and Matthieu Blaschczyk on the labour aspects.
We are honored to have had the opportunity to advise Eiffel Essentiel on this project, particularly as the ecological transition is a key priority for Oyat.
