OUR SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

At Oyat, we take our social and environmental responsibility seriously. Here’s a brief overview of how this commitment is reflected in our day-to-day practice.

Fostering a positive and responsible work environment

Our team members play a key role in the quality of our legal services. We make their health and well-being at work a priority by implementing measures that promote equality, improve working conditions for all, offer a high degree of flexibility in work organization, and support each individual’s development within the firm and throughout their career.

In doing so, we strive to provide ever-improving working conditions while enabling everyone to actively engage in the life of the firm.

Reducing the environmental impact of our activities

Aware of the impact our activities and consumption habits have on the environment, we are committed to a long-term sustainable development approach—whether in terms of resource and energy use, or the management of supplies and waste.

Our commitments are inspired by the practices of our clients, whom our environmental law team advises on a daily basis; we strive to apply the same recommendations we offer them.

Encouraging pro bono engagement

As part of a solidarity-based approach grounded in the core values of the legal profession, and in order to promote equal access to law and justice, we offer our team members the opportunity to use their skills in support of public interest initiatives. We actively encourage involvement in pro bono activities and ensure they have the time they need to do so.

Developing a culture of cybersecurity

Driven by our Digital & Innovation team, which has extensive experience in data protection law and cybersecurity, Oyat has built a strong culture of GDPR compliance and cybersecurity from the outset, with the goal of safeguarding the personal data entrusted to us.

Each team member is committed to adhering to a strict IT charter and benefits from a digital environment designed both to minimize the environmental impact of our equipment and infrastructure and to ensure the security of all data.
