Oyat advises Arcadis on its acquisition by DI Environnement
PARIS (September 2022) – Oyat advised Arcadis on the sale of its “Polluted Sites & Soils and Waste Management” business to DI Environnement. With revenues of €70m, the family-owned DI Environnement group, which specialises in asbestos removal for buildings and industry, is buying the French “Polluted Sites & Soils and Waste Management” business of Arcadis, a listed Dutch group active in design, engineering and consultancy for the natural and built environment.
For Arcadis, this sale comes at a time when it is refocusing its activities on sustainable development consultancy through environmental and ESG due diligence and regulatory studies.
The new owner, headed by Hugo Rosati, the founder’s son, closed the last financial year with sales of €70m and 450 employees. It is financing this acquisition using its cash resources.
Oyat worked alongside Arcadis on the corporate aspects of the deal, with a team comprising partners Caroline Basdevant-Soulié and Guillaume Ledoux and associate Ouisse Weiss Akhonzada.
