Oyat advises Nomios in the framework of the exclusive negotiations between IK Partners and Keensight Capital for the sale of Nomios
PARIS (June 28, 2023) – IK Partners announces that the IK VIII fund has entered into exclusive negotiations for the sale of Nomios, a European expert in cybersecurity, to Keensight Capital, a leading private equity fund dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Under the general management of its founder, Sébastien Kher, Nomios, which is present in more than 20 offices across Europe, generates sales of over 400 million euros and employs more than 600 people, many of whom are certified engineers. The company supports its customers in securing their increasingly complex networks and environments. Since its acquisition by IK in January 2019, the company has transitioned to become a European-scale cybersecurity expert. It has successfully doubled its sales thanks to organic growth in both its services and geographies.
Sébastien Kher, CEO of Nomios, comments: “We are excited by the opportunity of this new major partnership with Keensight and to benefit from their significant experience – as well as expertise – in the markets in which Nomios is active, in order to pursue our strong organic growth, combined with acquisitions in Europe to increase our presence.”
Oyat assists Sébastien Kher and the Nomios managers with the local and international coordination of the operation, as well as with the corporate aspects, with a team led by partner Caroline Basdevant-Soulié, partner Guillaume Ledoux and associate Ouisse Weiss Akhonzada. Deloitte handles the tax matters with Alexis Fillinger, partner; Caroline Wiesener, senior manager and Laurent Khemisti, director.
Callisto acts as financial advisor to managers, with Vincent Aymé, partner and Tancrède Caulliez, director.
The Amsterdam office of Clifford Chance acted alongside IK Partners.
